We had a such great stay in Lairg very close to falls of Shin, and a quiet area. It was in a good and amazing place. The rooms were huge and magnificent with electric heater, had 1 double bed and 1 single bed.

The location of the hotel was perfect for a peaceful weekend getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. the tranquility of the surroundings made it feel like we had the whole place to ourselves. the large room provided ample space and had impressive views from the beautiful bay windows. the staff were helpful and made the check-in process easy.

The towels provided were quite rough and felt like sandpaper. It was also a disappointment that there was no TV or tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The drive to the golf club was a scenic journey of 31 km, which gave me plenty of time to admire the beautiful countryside. Who needs GPS when you can just enjoy the stunning views?

What a shame that the golf club wasn't located right next to the hotel. It would have been so much more convenient to have a golf course in the backyard.

We really enjoyed the unexpectedness of Aultnagar Lodge. The location and views were absolutely spectacular. As young holiday goers, we appreciated the rare opportunity to have a single room at a single-occupancy rate. The history of the place was also quite interesting. The host, although surprising, was engaging and enthusiastic, making our stay more enjoyable.

Aultnagar Lodge - Eastside Rooms is my go-to spot in Lairg! They never disappoint. The staff is amazing - they even helped me retrieve my forgotten belongings once. With free Wi-Fi, parking, and pet-friendly policy, it has everything I need. Can't wait to be back for New Year's!

Stunning Views: From the moment I stepped into my room, I was greeted with breathtaking views of the Highlands. It was like waking up in a painting, with rolling hills and lush greenery stretching as far as the eye could see. I felt like a character in a romantic novel, where the beauty of nature speaks louder than any words.

Shower Maintenance: Unfortunately, one of the showers in the lodge didn't work properly. A minor repair is needed in room 14.
